You are how you wait: Queue Psychology Summary
Every year people spend a lot of time waiting in lines. Development of queues started in Britain and spread all over the world.
First of all, there are few ways to arrange lines: multi-server and 'snake' lines. Nobody likes standing in queues, that is why people usually can not tell the correct time they were waiting. People always think that they spend more time in line than they actually did. Scientists came up with some ideas how to make the waiting feel shorter. Mirrors next to the elevators or much longer walks in the airports are just a few ways to cut the waiting time. Moreover, it is not just the waiting that bothers people who stand in line, there are the queue-jumpers, who try to cut the line and people behind them are very unsatisfied.
All in all, while waiting in lines might seem like a complete waste of time, a lot of people have to do that every day.

My Future Profession
First thing that comes to mind when someone askes me why I decided to study Psychology is that this subject is incredibly interesting and I think I could use the knowledge I'll get here in many daily situations.
Talking about Psychology as my future profession, I should say, that it's difficult for me to say which type of Psichologist I would like to be when I finish my studies, but so far I was thinking about family or children Psychology. This type of Psychology interests me, because I believe, that here I could actually help someone, besides I enjoy working with children.
